Frankly, I don’t know where to begin talking about myself. This may come as a shock to the people who know me, as I have been blessed with the gift of gab. I like to say I got it from my mother, chatty Cathy.
My name is Dana Connor. I am currently enrolled at Niagara College in the Public Relations postgraduate program. When you take a year off to try and figure out what you want to do with your life, people have their doubts on whether you’ll actually return to school (like you claimed you would). But proving people wrong is so exhilarating to me. I am also very thankful that I had enough willpower to endure writing anything again after University or what I like to call, my personal hell. I could not be happier with my decision to return to school.
I have always been passionate about speaking my mind. My friends can tell you that. Getting to know me is easy, if you were to ask my University roommates to describe one thing they learned about me in our 4 years together they would all agree I have the biggest hometown pride. While living in Waterloo was an experience of a lifetime, Welland has always been my home and ultimately the inspiration for this blog.
As a side note:
When not found at a local watering hole, socially sipping on OV with my best friends you will probably find me talking, tweeting/blogging about reality television (mostly Survivor, Big Brother or The Challenge).
With regards to food:
My goal in life is to marry a man who thoroughly enjoys cooking because girlfriend does not have the patience for it. I would also prefer not to eat or smell any food with cilantro in it; that is like asking the average child to eat brussels sprouts. Besides cilantro, my only issue is spicy food as I prefer not to sweat while I am eating.
